Billing Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, credit, and Paypal are all accepted methods of payment. Please note: credit and Paypal carry an additional 3.5% processing fee.

When is payment due?

For counseling appointments, payment is due at the time of service.

For packages, consulting, and long-term projects, 50% of the agreed upon fee is due prior to work, and 50% is due upon completion.

Do you accept insurance for counseling services?

We are currently preferred providers for Cigna (Open Access Plus, PPO, HMO). If you aren't using insurance, we can provide a superbill upon request. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine whether or not nutrition services are covered.


 

Counseling-Specific Questions

What can I expect on my 15-minute FREE consultation call?

The purpose of this call is to see if we’re a good match. It will give you an opportunity to ask questions about our practice and will also give us an opportunity to make sure we’re the right people to help. There’s absolutely no obligation to set up an appointment during this call.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please call or email us. Our contact information can be found on the Contact page.

I’m scheduled for my first appointment. Now what?

You’ll receive patient forms via email to fill out prior to your first appointment. By doing the paperwork ahead of time, we can maximize our appointment time.

Where do we meet?

In-person appointments and meetings are typically held in our office. However, we are also more than happy to consult via phone or Skype/FaceTime.
