Billing Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, bank deposit, and credit are all accepted methods of payment. Please note: credit card transactions carry an additional processing fee of 3.5% + $0.15.

When is payment due?

For counseling appointments, payment is due at the time of service. Co-pays are due prior to the start of sessions.

For packages, consulting, and long-term projects, 50% of the agreed upon fee is due prior to work, and 50% is due upon completion.

Do you accept insurance for counseling services?

We are currently preferred providers for Cigna (Open Access Plus, PPO, HMO). As every plan is different, it is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine whether or not nutrition services are covered.

If you aren't covered under Cigna, we are happy to provide a superbill upon request. To get the maximum reimbursement from your insurance plan, please call your insurance company and ask if you are eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits under your plan. If you are eligible, you can ask them to walk you through the process for out-of-network claims.
